the finals went a bit (read A LOT) longer than anticipated, but eventually all the smoke cleared and 12 people were deemed the winners of the saturday's event! Andrew Finch and MTM presented the awards with the Lead Set Designer in Japan, Mr. Akabani (sp) Disclaimer: we are not 100% sure of the spellings of the names. we were sitting in the audience and writing them down as we heard them. we got to watch a lot of this match, and i must say, the two finalists played their little hearts out. it was really a match that was down to the wire, with it being down to sudden death... wow! @_@ The final match was a Feraligatr vs. a Typhlosion... two of the new starters in a fight to the death!
